Gay Nude Men Bearing Gifts

This weekend, Twin, his boyfriend, mine and myself will travel to the Tidewater area of Virginia bearing our donations of new toys for children less fortunate. Although we'll probably drive down with our clothes on (none of us want to spend time in jail), when the party begins, we'll all be naked. The occasion is our cousin's annual holiday social to benefit a toy collection charity. This year marks the fourth consecutive gift party.

Cuz and his boyfriend began this tradition as a fun gathering of nudist friends with a noble cause. Each year, it grows larger and better. It gives all of us guests the satisfaction of having holiday cheer while knowing that we're contributing for the seasonal joy of others. "Naked with a cause!" as my boyfriend likes to describe it.

For the past several years, everyone has to remain fully dressed until all the guests arrive. Then we divide into teams (couples are in different groups), the clock starts and we all have to race to strip off our clothes and wrap as many presents as possible until all are decorated and labelled by age and gender. The irony is that we, the men, uncover ourselves in order to cover up the toys! An unusual icebreaker activity that's perfect for the winter holiday season!

Not only is this yet another opportunity for social nudity, it's also a chance for us, as gay men, to contribute to the good of our society. Yes, most of us give generously throughout the year to a multitude of worthy causes. But during this season of goodwill and sharing, it's nice and personally satisfying to come together and offer something to those youth who are unable to exercise any control over their lives. We're giving in the true spirit of the season.

Over the past four years, I've become acquainted with many of the friends of Cuz and his man from this particular area of Virginia. The vast majority of them feel the same as I do about this seasonal gathering. It's always good to come together and share our nakedness. It's even better when it's done in the service of bringing happiness and joy to complete strangers. After all, generosity is really the true reason for this season.
